Marshall Gerstein Extends Willis Tower Tenancy

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP, a Willis Tower tenant since 1993, is extending its tenancy at the Loop landmark. The law firm has renewed its two-floor space of 74,176 square feet through 2031.

The firm is now considering options to reconfigure parts of its current space. “Along with new workflow automation technologies and our creation of paperless filing processes, we no longer have a need for cavernous filing areas, which we can now repurpose to better meet the needs of our clients and our team,” said Marshall Gerstein’s Jeffrey S. Sharp.

He added, “Our intent is to continue to make Marshall Gerstein a place where the best and brightest want to work, and we saw tremendous potential to achieve this goal by remaining at Willis Tower.”

Marshall Gerstein partners Randall Rueth, Jennifer Burnette and Michael Furmanek spearheaded lease negotiations. CBRE’s Kyle Kamin, Jon Milonas and Peter Livaditis represented the firm.
