Mankato Deal Means Southern MN Expansion for Investor

Marcus & Millichap recently arranged the sale of The Edge, a 48-unit apartment property located in Mankato, MN. The asset sold for $4,200,000.

Chris Collins, Evan Miller, and Abe Roberts, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Minneapolis office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer, also a private investor, was secured and represented by Collins, Miller and Roberts as well.

The Edge is located at 1902 Warren St., directly across from Minnesota State University, Mankato. The building was built in 1967 and features an even mix of one-and two-bedroom units.

“The sellers are local to the Mankato area but own assets throughout the country, while the buyer was looking to expand its multifamily portfolio in southern Minnesota,” said Collins.
