Loop Alliance Will Spotlight Hilton Hotels’ Dean Lane

The Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation will honor Dean Lane, area general manager of the Hiltons of Chicago and the Palmer House, with its Illumination Award at its 15th Annual Illumination Gala on September 20. The Illumination Award is meant to highlight civic and community leaders who have enhanced the experience and well-being of Loop businesses, residents and visitors.

Lane (pictured) was selected as this year’s recipient not only for his dedication to Chicago Loop Alliance, but also for his service to the City of Chicago and its hospitality and tourism community. Currently, he’s a State Street Commissioner, overseeing Special Service Area #1-2015, for which the alliance is the sole service provider.

“When we think about people who exemplify the qualities of an Illumination Award honoree—leaders who make the Loop a better place for everyone—Dean Lane is always top of mind,” said Michael Edwards, the alliance’s president and CEO.
