Longview Senior Housing Project Back on Track

Following a spate of financial trouble, the 209-unit Parkview on Hollybrook senior living development in Longview, TX appears to be back on track. NE Development, based in the Dallas area, applied for a new commercial permit to complete the development at 603 Hollybrook Dr. The construction timeline has not been disclosed.

Construction had begun on the project in 2014, but was halted in 2015 when it went over budget. Developer Zerga Phin-Ker ended up in bankruptcy court, which approved a plan to sell the property to pay creditors.
The original plan for the facility was to offer one and two-bedroom apartments. The current plan is for 126 independent living units, and 83 assisted living and memory care units.
