Long Beach’s Tallest Tower Proposed
Shoreline Development Partners, a joint-venture between Los Angeles-based AndersonPacific, LLC, San Diego-based Ledcor Properties Inc. and Canada-based Qualico Developments, Inc. plans to develop Long Beach’s tallest building. The 35-story tower is set to rise 417-feet in height and is the final phase of Shoreline Gateway.
The proposed project includes 315 residential units, roughly 6,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a 5-level underground parking garage. It includes a mixture of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments and lofts, as well as a gym, a community garden and a swimming pool.
Designed by Rockefeller Partners Architects, the East Tower, as it is being called, will be built on a 0.55-acre site at 777 E. Ocean Blvd. The project will share a 10,000-square-foot plaza with the recently-completed $70-million Current tower.
