London Stock Exchange Takes Two Floors at 28 Liberty
The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is consolidating from multiple locations around Manhattan into two floors at Fosun Hive Holdings’ Liberty St., the Downtown landmark formerly known as One Chase Manhattan Plaza. LSEG has signed a long-term lease for 75,000 square feet.
“Lower Manhattan was an ideal location for the London Stock Exchange, placing one of the oldest stock exchanges in the world within the heart of the Financial District,” said JLL’s Peter Riguardi. “Fosun’s comprehensive, $180-million redevelopment of 28 Liberty created a dynamic environment that is perfect for world-class organizations such as the LSEG.”
Riguardi led a JLL team representing Fosun that also included Mitch Konsker, John Wheeler, Michael Berman, Daniel Turkewitz and Eliza Akers. Fosun’s Thomas Costanzo and Isabella Chen also represented ownership. CBRE’s Robert Stillman, Harly Stevens and Ariel Ball advised LSEG.
