Logistics Firm Leases 250K SF in Edison

Romark Logistics committed to a 249,853-square-foot industrial lease at 145 Talmadge Rd. in Edison, NJ. The company, which specializes in e-commerce fulfillment, omni-channel distribution, reverse logistics and many other facets associated with the supply chain, will be expanding its operations at the property owned by New York Life Insurance Company.

CBRE’s Scott Belfer represented Romark in the lease negotiations. Belfer and his colleagues, Nicholas Nitti and Lou Belfer, acted on behalf of the ownership.

“When the space became available, it was being offered as a sublease,” said Scott Belfer, an SVP with CBRE. “Working closely with ownership and the previous tenant, we were able to structure a long-term solution for all of the parties involved.

“Romark was able to take advantage of the existing infrastructure that was already in the building and expand its operations near its other warehouse, fulfillment and distribution facilities in the Edison market,” he added.
