Local Community Shopping Center Trades Hands

GrayStreet Partners sold an unnamed shopping center at 4223 McCullough Ave., on San Antonio’s near North Side. The buyer was Olmos Park Village Shopping Center GP, which is being led by Austin, TX-based Ironwood Real Estate. GrayStreet acquired the center, which was built in the 1960s, in 2013.

The purchase price was undisclosed, but the new owners secured a $2.8 million loan to acquire the 20,619-square-foot asset. The Bexar Central Appraisal District appraised the property at $3.1 million. Tenants include W.B. Liquors and Wine, The Popcorn Palace, and Tuesday Morning. The retail center was 100% occupied at the time of sale.
