Local Buyer Snaps Up Austin Apartments

Berkadia arranged the sale of Lincoln Oaks, a 296-unit garden-style multifamily property in Austin. Managing director Kelly Witherspoon and directors Michael Gonzalez and Justin Cole of Berkadia’s Austin office completed the sale on behalf of the seller, California-based Glen Una Management. The buyer was locally based Wildhorn Capital.

“Lincoln Oaks presented an incredibly rare opportunity to acquire an untouched 1980s community on the doorstep of The Domain that was well maintained during the 20-plus years previous ownership held it,” said Witherspoon.

Located at 11700 Metric Blvd., Lincoln Oaks features one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Community amenities include a swimming pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, water and sand volleyball courts, barbeque grills, picnic areas and laundry facilities. Residents are also afforded convenient access to The Domain, Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park, The Parmer Lane Tech Corridor and the shops and restaurants along Research Boulevard.
