LMC Breaks Ground on Elmhurst Apartments

Lennar company LMC broke ground on The Fynn, a 212-unit apartment property in Elmhurst, IL. The project, which joins six other LMC developments in the Chicago region, is expected to be ready for its first move-ins by January 2021.

The Fynn will be located within the Elmhurst City Centre, one block west of the North York Corridor. LMC says more than 40 dining options and 275 retailers are within walking distance or a short drive.

“Elmhurst offers a taste of downtown life in a relaxed, upscale suburb,” said Travis Nordgaard, real estate development manager for LMC. “Everything a resident might need is at their fingertips.”

The community is less than three miles from Interstates 290 and 294, providing access to the greater Chicago area. Additionally, the nearby Elmhurst Metra Station provides a 30-minute express train to Downtown Chicago.
