Little Free Libraries Popping Up in Katy

One more Little Free Library has opened in Katy, TX, specifically, in the Green Trails neighborhood. This is the latest one to join other Little Free Libraries in this far west Houston suburb; more exist in Firethorne, Oak Park Trails, Williams Elementary and even at the Katy Funeral Home.

Little Free Libraries, consisting of small, outdoor housing in neighborhood locations, can hold up to 60-75 books at a time. The libraries are open 24 hours a day, where patrons can borrow and trade books. They also serve as a meeting place for neighbors.

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building free book exchanges and fostering community.
