LinkedIn Unloads Office Space

The Los Altos office market will soon have additional product on the market.

LinkedIn, the professional networking tech site, is reportedly shedding some office space through a sublease, just one year after it acquired the property but never moved in. Sources say the company is putting 96,562 square feet on the market at 4440 El Camino Real. Colliers International brokered the deal for LinkedIn. In a similar situation, Dropbox recently subleased 200,000 SF of their office space in San Francisco’s China Basin area.

Meanwhile, LinkedIn is continuing to expand its portfolio, including the start of construction at “The Village at San Antonio,” a new development in Mountain View featuring 400,000 square feet of offices.
