Lincoln, Blue Star Teaming Up Again in Texas

A development team that includes Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ Blue Star Land LP and Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co. is seeking to create a mixed-use development in Irving, TX. The pair filed plans with the zoning commission for a vacant 28-acre site in Las Colinas, at the south corner of State Highways 114 and 161.

The project is envisioned to include a hotel and retail space to the north along High Point Drive, and 288 apartments on Meridian Drive, east of Highway 161. The development would surround a community park at the center.

Blue Star acquired the land in 2010. A development timeline has yet to be established. The Blue Star-Lincoln team collaborated on the Cowboys’ Star in Frisco.
