Life Time Will Rebrand 4 NYHRC Locations

Life Time plans to grow in Manhattan from five locations to nine through a collaboration agreement with New York Health & Racquet Club (NYHRC). Four NYHRC facilities in Midtown and Midtown South will be rebranded as Life Time HRC, following $25 million in renovations.

The four locations include 60 W. 23rd St., 110 W. 56th St., 62 Cooper Square and 270 Park Ave. South.

60 West 23rd Street will be the first location to transition to Life Time. Plans call for the club to close and renovations to begin on September 1. An early 2020 reopening is expected.

The remaining three facilities will follow with a similar approach. Each location will operate as NYHRC until renovations get underway.

A Manhattan presence since 1973, NYHRC will continue to operate four of its five remaining locations under that brand. However, the 50th Street location will close permanently on September 1.
