Liberty Hotel to Build at MO’s $300M Gateway Sports Village
Liberty Hotel Group will build two new hotels at the Gateway Sports Village in Grandview, MO. The Liberty, MO-based hospitality developer will first build a Best Western Plus to be integrated with Gateway Sports Village, a complex that will contain soccer fields, retail and a multi-sport field house. The hotels will provide locations for competing youth teams and families to stay during tournaments.
The 240-acre Gateway Sports Village is east of U.S. 71 and on S.H. 150 between Byars and Kelley Roads. Upon completion, the project will offer approximately 397,000 square feet of commercial space, as well as 250 multifamily units and 40 single-family houses.
