Lexus Dealership to Travel to $40M New Facility

The Friedkin Group, a Houston-based consortium of companies, announced that its Northside Lexus dealership would be relocating to a 22-acre site amid the mixed-use Cathedral Lakes, just south of The Woodlands, TX. Construction is underway on the $40-million, 158,400-square-foot facility at 24400 North Freeway. The new site is six miles north of the dealership’s current locale at 17925 North Freeway. The new location is scheduled for a December 2018 opening.

The Cathedral Lakes project is spearheaded by Grace Community Church, and is being built on more than 100 acres it has owned for years along Interstate 45.  In addition to the Lexus dealership, the Medical Resort at The Woodlands, a skilled-nursing facility, is being built on more than five acres in the development, and a hotel is anticipated to close on a land purchase shortly.
