LeMaitre Vascular Signs 26K-SF Office Lease in Burlington
Burlington-based medical company LeMaitre Vascular has signed a 10-year, 26,447-square-foot lease at 32-34 Third Ave. in Burlington.
The lease agreement began on Nov. 26 but the medical firm doesn’t plan to move into the space until May 2020. The property is a Nordblom affiliate-owned flex research and development building. The property’s current tenant, intravascular imaging company Infraredx, has a lease that expires Dec. 31 2020. Nordblom is currently negotiating an early lease termination with Infraredx.
LeMaitre’s lease includes a $31,000 per month base rent, before increasing each year after that through the end of 2030. Compared to life science leases in Kendall Square, which have surpassed $100 per square foot in recent years, LeMaitre will only pay $14 per square foot in Burlington initially.
