Law Firm Freeborn Opts for Prebuilt at Durst’s 1155 AofA

Freeborn and Peters LLP has signed a six-year and one-month lease for 16,563 square foot on the entire 26th floor of the Durst Organization’s 1155 Ave. of the Americas.  The law firm is moving from 230 Park Ave. to a prebuilt floor at 1155.

The new tenant is the third law firm to relocate to 1155, which has undergone a $130-millioncapital improvement program. “We are thrilled to welcome Freeborn to Sixth Avenue and the Durst portfolio,” said Jonathan Durst, president of The Durst Organization. “Our prebuilt portfolios provide tenants with a human-centered approach to office design that optimizes natural light, views and access to outside clean air.”

Freeborn was represented by EVP Matthew McBride of CBRE. The Durst Organization was represented in-house by senior managing director Rocco Romeo and senior leasing associate Tanya Grimaldo.
