Law Firm Extends 265K-SF Midtown Lease
The prominent law firm of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel will remain at 1177 Avenue of the Americas. A lease extension will keep the global company’s headquarters at its nine-floor, 265,348 square-foot space through 2035.
“We are thrilled to continue our terrific relationship with Kramer Levin at 1177 Avenue,” said Roger Silverstein, executive vice president of leasing for Silverstein Properties, the owner of the one million-square-foot, 47-story tower, which is reportedly 94% leased.
The tower’s 45-foot lobby and exterior arcade were upgraded in 2013 by Moed de Armas & Shannon Architects.
