Larger-Scale Bronzeville Multifamily Changes Hands

Apartment Investment Advisers (AIA) recently closed the sale of an apartment building in the Bronzeville neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side. The 37-unit building at 4817 S. King Dr. sold for $2,350,000, or $63,514 per unit.

Mike Lindblad of AIA was the sole broker involved in the deal. Buyer and seller weren’t disclosed.

AIA notes that Bronzeville has seen a great deal of investor interest in recent months, given its ideal location between the South Loop and Hyde Park. “This was a rare opportunity to bring new life to a larger-scale-property along the historic boulevard on King Drive,” said Lindblad.
