L’Occitane Takes Full Floor of Office with ESRT

Cosmetics retailer L’Occitane Inc. has signed a full-floor lease at Empire State Realty Trust’s 111 W. 33rd St. The company will occupy 20,962 square feet on the 26-story property’s 20th floor.

“L’Occitane, Inc., a great international brand, joins an exciting tenant roster at 111 West 33rd,” said Thomas P. Durels, EVP, real estate for ESRT. “Tenants are drawn to 111’s efficient floor plates, spectacular lobby, natural light and convenient access to Penn Station and the Herald Square transit hub.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s Mark Boisi, Gary Ceder and Laurence Carroll represented L’Occitane. Landlord representation was provided by Keith Cody from ESRT, and an NKF team of Scott J. Klau, Erik S. Harris and Neil L. Rubin.

Built in 1954, the 729,369-square-foot 111 W. 33rd has been extensively modernized. Office tenants include Macy’s and the corporate headquarters of ESRT.
