Kubota Plans $85M Expansion of Manufacturing Plant in Gainesville

Heavy equipment manufacturer Kubota North America Corp. has announced plans for an $85-million expansion of its current manufacturing facility in Gainesville. The expansion will include a new engineering and design center.

The company recently acquired approximately 300 acres for the new facility near its current manufacturing plant at 2715 Ramsey Rd. inside the Gateway Industrial Centre in southwestern Hall County. The new facility is expected to open in April 2022.

Kubota also opened a 502,000-square-foot vehicle manufacturing facility on 180 acres in 2017, three miles from its existing facility. The company leases that plant from the Gainesville & Hall County Development Authority.
