KT&G Takes HQ Space at Fossil Creek Crossing
KT&G USA Corp., a Korea-based conglomerate, signed a 10-year lease for its U.S. headquarters and distribution center in Fossil Creek Crossing. The tenant, the fifth-largest tobacco company, will be the first in the space at 5501 Sandshell Dr. in Fort Worth.
Nick Talley with Bradford Companies represented KT&G in the 72,800-square-foot deal. J. Scott Moore, Bob Scully and Bruce Wells with CBRE represented the landlord, Fossil Creek Owner LLC, which delivered the 213,089-square-foot building in mid-2018.
Talley indicated that several factors drove the KT&G leasing decision, one of which involved the completion of Fossil Creek Crossing. In addition, the tenant focused on Foreign Trade Zone-designated properties. “Fossil Creek Crossing’s freeway exposure was a big deal for my client,” he said. The company will build out a 2,200-square-foot headquarters office, and use the 70,600-square foot balance of the end cap as its only distribution center in the nation.
