Krave Jerky Moving from Cali to Austin

Krave Jerky, which made its home in Sonoma, CA for many years, is moving its headquarters to a new location – in Austin, TX. The Hershey Co., which acquired the beef jerky maker in 2015, wants to relocate it, and other snacking subsidiaries, to the Capital City. That is where Amplify Snack Brands, which makes SkinnyPop (also acquired by Hershey) is located.

A timeline for the Krave move, nor a location, have yet been determined. “We do not yet have a time frame for a move,” Hershey Director of Corporate Communications Jeff Beckman told the North Bay Business Journal. Beckman also said that the plan is to bring the many snack brands Hershey has acquired together as a single business. As such, “We have decided to make Amplify the hub for our emerging brands,” he said.
