Koreatown MXU Hotel, MF Moves Forward
A proposed new mixed-use project in Koreatown received good news that will bring to life a 21-story hotel and residence destination. The developer, 3800 West Sixth Street, LLC, an entity affiliated with Gateway Secured Regional Center, secured verbal approval and expects to receive its Letter of Determination and written documents shortly, allowing the property to break ground in early 2019.
The developer of 3800 W. 6th St. envisions 122 condominium units, a 192-room hotel and 14,500 square feet of commercial and retail space on the ground and second floors. The hotel’s design will embody luxurious interiors infused with traditional social and dining environments, offering a truly modern, harmonious aesthetic and experience.
Located at Sixth Street and Serrano Avenue, the project is near the Metro Purple stations and is expected to play a part in the continued resurgence of Koreatown.
