Kohl’s Identifies 3 OC Closures
Wisconsin-based Kohl’s is closing three under-performing stores in Orange County in the coming months. The locations include stores in Santa Ana, Cypress and Ladera Ranch.
The company is offering severance packages or other jobs nearby to 80 to 100 affected employees at each store. To shore up its business, Kohl’s is introducing seven smaller-format stores in undisclosed locations, and opening 12 Fila outlet stores.
The retailer is also closing California stores in Arcadia, Mira Mesa, Rancho Cordova, San Jose, Upland and West Hills, as part of a nationwide, 18-store round of closings.
