Knotel Signs on with CIM at 5 Hanover Sq.

Agile workspace provider Knotel is continuing its growth across Manhattan, committing to 28,820 square feet at CIM Group’s 5 Hanover Square. The new lease encompasses the 338,000-square-foot Downtown tower’s 17th and 18th floors.

Knotel’s portfolio across New Yok City, where the company was founded in 2016, now spans 1.5 million square feet. It has completed nine leases totaling 70,000 square feet over the past several weeks.

Regarding 5 Hanover Square, Knotel’s Eugene Lee commented, “We are confident that our members will benefit from the building’s convenient and desirable location near multiple subway lines, Pier 11 Ferry Terminal, and the FDR Drive.”

Elie Reiss of Skylight Leasing represented Knotel in the transaction. A CBRE team of Michael Rizzo, Adam Leshowitz and Robert Wizenberg advised the landlord. The new Knotel location is set to open later this year.
