KKR, Continuum Ink Energy Firm to Regional HQ Deal in Midland, TX
New York-based investment firm KKR and Denver-based Continuum Partners signed Woodlands, TX-based Anadarko Petroleum Corporation to a new 300,000-square-foot regional office deal at Westridge Commons in Midland, TX. Anadarko’s purchase marks the first major business owner to build in the new 38-acre mixed-use commercial real estate development located on Andrews Highway, midway between Fort Worth and El Paso.
Construction on Anadarko’s offices for 300 employees is slated to commence in February 2018, with completion of it, as well as the initial phase of retail, expected in the summer of 2019.
Continuum Partners’ Mark Falcone says, “We are thrilled to be kicking off Westridge Commons with this outstanding new facility for Anadarko,” who notes the site is “well positioned to create a dynamic new district which will serve the increasingly sophisticated demands of this growing city. We are excited to get the project moving forward.”
KKR invested in Westridge Commons from its real estate fund, Real Estate Partners Americas I.
