Kingsmill Resort Acquired for $31M

Escalante Golf, headquartered in Texas, acquired the 422-room Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA. The resort, which was originally built and maintained by the Anheuser-Busch Co., went to Escalante Golf for $30.7 million.

Located at 1010 Kingsmill Rd., Kingsmill Resort is part of the 2,900-acre Kingsmill master planned community. In addition to the rooms, the resort offers six restaurants, a 17,000-square-foot conference center, a full-service spa and fitness center, a marina, three golf courses and a 15-court tennis center. The property also hosts the LPGA Kingsmill Championship.

Escalante Golf, headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, owns nine country clubs and golf courses.
