Kidder Mathews Leases-Up Goodyear MOB Following Maytag Store Conversion

Cornerstone Medical Center is now fully leased, following four deals at the repurposed former Maytag appliance store in Goodyear. The tenant lineup at the 20,235-square-foot property includes a diverse mix of healthcare tenants, including Cigna, ResCare, Valley Sleep Center and the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD).

Whiteboard Development Company, LLC acquired 13481 W. McDowell Rd. 14 months ago and repurposed the retail property into a medical property that was inspired by the concept of connectivity. Exterior renovations included reskinning the building and a new window package. The stand-alone, former Maytag store sat empty for 18 months.

Kidder Mathews’ Michael Dupuy, Tyler Smith and Rachael Thompson negotiated the long-term leases on behalf of the landlord, whose principal is Colin Brown, a locally- and family-owned real estate office.

The tenants were represented by CBRE’s Bryce Terveen (Cigna and ResCare); Benchmark Commercial’s Eric Campos (Valley Sleep Center); and Pacific Partners Commercial’s Brian Forster, (CARD).
