Kennedy Wilson Sells Fred Segal Building
A 29,000-square-foot building best known as Fred Segal, an icon in the fashion world, was sold for an undisclosed price to CormackHill, LP, a retail real estate investor. It was the first time in more than 40 years that the high profile property, located at 8100 Melrose Ave., had been on the market.
The site includes expansive retail and restaurant space, currently housing tenants such as Ron Herman and Ron Robison, both protégées of Fred Segal himself, as well as a 102-space parking lot, a rarity in Melrose Heights.
Kennedy Wilson’s Ed Sachse, Fred Cordova and Michael Puleo represented both the seller, 8100 Melrose Associates, LLC, as well as the buyer.
