KBS’ 500 W. Madison Wins Regional Building of the Year Honor
KBS’ 500 W. Madison in Chicago has been named a regional winner of the Building Owners and Managers Association’s The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award. The 40-story office property will now move on to the international competition in San Antonio, where winners will be announced on June 26.
“We are extremely proud to win this distinguished award and recognition for 500 W. Madison,” said SVP Dan Park at KBS. “This a direct result of the continuous dedication and hard work our team provides each day to our tenants and customers.”
In particular, the regional recognition is “a testament to the efforts of the management, engineering, security and custodial teams each and every day,” said Micah Larmie, SVP of asset services at Transwestern, which manages the 1.4-million-square-foot tower.
500 W. Madison was among 16 properties that competed in 11 categories for the North Central TOBY Awards.
