KBS’ 500 W. Madison Takes Home BOMA TOBY Honors

KBS’ 500 W. Madison has been awarded the International TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Award by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). This year’s winner in the Over One Million Square Feet category, the 1.4-million-square-foot West Loop tower, is part of the KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III portfolio.

“Winning the International TOBY is a true testament to the tireless efforts of the Transwestern management, engineering and operational teams in providing an exceptional level of service to the tenants, commuters and visitors of the property,” said Micah Larmie, SVP of asset services at Transwestern, which manages the property.

At KBS, Senior Vice President and Asset Manager Dan Park described 500 W. Madison as “the realization of a modern-day workplace; the mindfully-created and extensive amenity options offer unique experiences for all of our tenants and the massive amount of commuters each day.” The building sits above Ogilvie Transportation Center.
