Kazmierski Elevated to Head of Kaufman Investments

The Kaufman Organization has promoted Michael Kazmierski to president of Kaufman Investments. The youngest principal in Kaufman’s 108-year history, the 35-year-old Kazmierski (pictured) will now lead the firm’s real estate investment strategies and activities.

Throughout his tenure at Kaufman, Kazmierski has played a role in approximately $1.5 billion in acquisitions, dispositions and financings of New York City office transactions. Most recently, he helped to finalize the $120-million refinancing of the Madison Square Portfolio in Midtown South, which included an additional acquisition facility to purchase a newly-restructured ground lease.

“Mr. Kazmierski has helped advance the Kaufman legacy by implementing a strategic vision based on a strong understanding of the intricacies of the New York City commercial landscape, coupled with deep resources across the capital markets,” said Steven Kaufman, president of the Kaufman Organization. “He has consistently proven himself to be a passionate, tenacious and results-driven professional.”
