Kaufman Hall Expands to CME Center

As part of an updated workforce strategy, consulting firm Kaufman Hall is expanding its Chicago-area presence with offices downtown. The company has leased 14,118 square feet at Tishman Speyer’s CME Center, although its corporate headquarters will remain in suburban Skokie, IL.

The new office will house roughly 100 employees, and will feature a flexible environment and communal amenities to support collaboration and interaction. It’s expected to open in August.

“In Chicago and other metro areas across the United States, we are seeing a dramatic shift in location dynamics,” said Savills Studley’s Renae Bradshaw, who represented the tenant along with colleague John Goodman. “Rather than employees moving to where companies are located, companies are moving to where the talent wants to be. Culture and convenience are two key attractions for the millennial generation.”

Tishman Speyer was represented in-house by Joe Gordon and Justin Lewis.
