JV Will Bring Luxury Senior Housing to Oak Brook

Senior Lifestyle Corporation and Kaufman Jacobs began construction on the Sheridan at Oak Brook in Oak Brook, IL. The 200-unit senior housing community is the fourth joint venture between Senior Lifestyle and Kaufman Jacobs.

“The Sheridan at Oak Brook will be a part of our elite Signature Collection,” said Senior Lifestyle EVP Matthew Phillips. “We will offer unsurpassed luxury to meet the refined personal needs of our residents.”

The project will feature 127 independent living apartment homes, 59 assisted living apartment homes and 14 memory care residences developed specifically to support those with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other memory-impairing illnesses. Senior Lifestyle said it will be the only dedicated, purposefully designed independent living, assisted living and memory care community in Oak Brook.

The 215,000-square-foot retirement community will sit on 4.5 acres of land near major shopping malls and dining destinations.

Connect Chicago Fall 2019 will take place Oct. 29 in Chicago. For more information, or to register, click here.
