JV Launches Construction on CityPlace 1

Patrinely Group, in partnership with USAA Real Estate and CDC Houston, began work on CityPlace 1, a 149,600-square-foot building in the far north Houston suburb of Spring, TX. The development, at 1700 City Plaza Dr., is the first multitenant office building to go north in the mixed-use, 60-acre CityPlace at Springwoods Village.

Scheduled to be completed in Q2 2019, CityPlace 1 will offer 122,700 square feet of office space, and 26,900 square feet of ground floor retail space. JLL’s Chrissy Wilson and Russell Hodges are handling office leasing for CityPlace 1, while Crystal Allen and Chace Henke with Transwestern are on the leasing side.

Springwoods Village is a 2,000-acre, master-planned community on Interstate 45 between Springwoods Village Parkway and the Grand Parkway. In addition to the CityPlace, Springwoods Village provides different housing options, civic facilities and outdoor recreation.
