Johnston and Murphy Joins Empire Outlets Roster

Johnston and Murphy will join the tenant roster at BFC Partners’ Empire Outlets, New York City’s first outlet center, located on Staten Island’s North Shore. The new store will be Johnston and Murphy’s first factory store in the city.

Established in 1850, the clothing and footwear retailer will open a 2,564-square-foot store, joining an array of designer outlets including Nordstrom Rack, American Eagle Outfitters, Aerie, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Columbia Sporting Goods, Gap Factory, H&M, Jockey, Nike Factory, and Old Navy.

“Synonymous with excellence in American apparel, Johnston & Murphy brings even more star power to an already outstanding tenant roster at Empire Outlets,” said James Prendamano, Empire Outlets’ leasing broker and CEO of Casandra Properties.

This fall, a 40,000-square-foot food and beverage deck with views of Manhattan will open at Empire Outlets. It will feature dozens of food concepts, including MRKTPL, Staten Island’s first-ever artisanal food hall.
