John Simons Joins Jonathan Rose Companies

John Simons is the new regional manager for New York for Rose Community Management, the property management arm of leading affordable housing and mixed-income development firm Jonathan Rose Companies.

In 2018, Rose plans to take over the management of the apartments in its portfolio from a third-party management company. Simons will lead that transition.

Simons previously worked as a management executive with Akam Associates. He has also served as assistant vice president of asset management with the New York City Housing Development Corp. and as senior portfolio manager with Winn Residential.

“By tapping John’s extensive knowledge base, we will continue to enrich our work with duplicatable, practical and effective strategies that improve the well-being of residents, neighborhoods, cities and regions,” said Angelo Pimpas, president of Rose Community Management.
