John Hancock, CRG Plan 1M-SF Spec Industrial Near Atlanta

Connect Industrial is heading to Chicago, June 28th. Here’s where to get more details and register.

Boston-based John Hancock Real Estate and St. Louis, MO-based CRG plan to develop Locust Grove Distribution Center, a one-million-square-foot industrial building in Locust Grove, GA, about 35 miles south of Atlanta. The spec facility is the first in a multiple phase, 311-acre business park designed for more than 4.5 million square feet of industrial.

CRG’s Mike Demperio said: “We see significant opportunity in the I-75 corridor with close proximity to the Port of Savannah, Charleston, Jacksonville and all of Florida.”

The distribution center will feature 36-foot clear heights with 236 trailer spaces, 148 dock height doors, 386 parking spaces, all concrete paving and LED lighting. The building is slated for occupancy in early 2018.
