JLL Names Kennedy Oates as Procurement Lead

JLL appointed Houston-based Kennedy Oates to the global role of chief procurement officer. He will manage a multibillion-dollar spend for JLL’s facility, project and property management clients, as well as JLL’s own corporate spend, across an extensive network of local, regional and global suppliers.

“Kennedy’s deep expertise and global leadership experience will help us further advance our strong Sourcing & Procurement capability as we continue to deliver value to our clients, our firm and our shareholders,” said Neil Murray, JLL Corporate Solutions CEO.
 
Oates brings more than 28 years of global supply chain experience to the role. Previously, he led global procurement for Hertz Global. Prior to that, he spent more than 25 years in various leadership roles, including leading global sourcing for GE Corporate and major GE business lines, while living in the U.S., Italy and Hungary.

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 16-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism. His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications. Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
