Jerry Jones, Former Players Plan Frisco High-Rise

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, in partnership with former Cowboy players Roger Staubach and Robert Shaw, will build Frisco’s first high-rise residential tower.

The project, to be led by Dallas-based Columbus Realty Partners Ltd., will be part of the sprawling The Star in Frisco mixed-use development. Staubach and Shaw have stakes in Columbus Realty, with Shaw serving as company CEO. He envisions the estimated 160-unit building, which sits within walking distance of Cowboys world headquarters, as a fan destination.

“It’s more than housing,” Shaw said. “It’s about the Cowboys fan lifestyle.”

The apartment homes will average 1,200 square feet, and offer residents exclusive access to events.
