Jeffrey Jennison Takes Over as CEO at Watson Land

Carson, CA-based Watson Land Co. named Jeffrey Jennison CEO. The appointment completes a three-year transition leading up to Bruce Choate’s retirement in March 2017. Choate had served as Watson’s CEO since 2003. Jennison retains his role as president.

Jennison brings more than 17 years of experience as a senior leader at Watson to his new role. He joined the company as vice president of asset management in 2000, was named COO in 2013, and president in 2014.

Jennison says working alongside Choate for so many years allowed him to see the “vision” and “steadfast commitment to quality” instilled into the Watson culture. “I look forward to honoring this institutional legacy, as we continue forward into the next era of the company’s growth and expansion,” he said.

The industrial development concern owns and operates 20 million square feet of master-planned properties in key SoCal and East Coast markets.
