Jamestown Tries On $820M Deal for San Francisco’s Levi’s Plaza
Atlanta-based Jamestown LP is reportedly negotiating to acquire San Francisco’s Levi’s Plaza. The deal for the 850,000-square-foot property could hit the $820 million range, which would rank it among the city’s biggest office sales ever.
The property is owned by Gerson Bakar and home to Levi Strauss & Co. The jeans company leases about 354,000 square feet of HQ space at the multi-building campus at 1155 Battery St.
The asset came to market for the first time earlier this year. Eastdil Secured is handling the sale assignment.
Jamestown has acquired other properties in the market, including neighboring Waterfront Plaza, Ghirardelli Square, 731 Market St. and 660 Market St.
Other San Francisco properties that have eclipsed the $800 million mark include 1 Market Plaza, Embarcadero Center, 555 California St. and 101 California St.
