Jade’s Arts District MXU Receives L.A. Planning Approval
Los Angeles-based Jade Enterprises received Los Angeles City Planning Commission approval on a proposed mixed-use development in DTLA’s Arts District. The three-building campus would encompass a mix of 110 live-work apartments, 113,000 square feet of office space and 51,000 square feet of commercial area.
The adaptive-reuse project at 2110 E. Bay St. was designed by Studio One Eleven, and would repurpose some existing factories and plants and add new ones including an 11-story tower. The 1.8-acre site at Santa Fe Avenue and Bay Street would include a series of pedestrian walkways, and will help activate the area and connect to the L.A. River. A construction timeline for the 35-month project has not been announced.
Other nearby planned Arts District projects include Tishman Speyer’s 200,000-square-foot office development, and Onni Group’s 15-story mixed-use tower with residential and office.
Connect Westside Los Angeles is planned Wednesday, December 4th at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, 11461 Sunset Blvd. Register to join us at the conference on this link.
