Jacobs Tapped to Lead Hunt Regional Medical Center Design

The Jacobs architect firm in Dallas has been selected to lead design efforts for the new Hunt Regional Medical Center women’s center addition and surgical suite renovation in Greenville, TX. The 40,000-square-foot addition and rehab will represent the first expansion of the facility at 4215 Joe Ramsey Blvd. East in more than a decade.

The $25 million project will include 20 new postpartum rooms, a six-room labor, delivery and recovery area, a four-room ante-partum unit, a well-baby nursery, 12 bassinet neonatal intensive care units and a new lobby.

The surgical suite’s renovation will include four new operating rooms, four new gastrointestinal rooms and expansion of the post-anesthesia care unit. Furthermore, 18,000 square feet will revamp dated systems, as well as implement replacements for more efficient equipment.
