J.C. Anderson Completes Kia Buildout in Lombard

J.C. Anderson has completed a renovation for Kia Motors America’s training center in Lombard, IL. The buildout included the addition of a new classroom and projector room, expansion of the existing automotive lab and furnishing and installing a new ramp for car access to the lab.

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by project executive Seth Erlich and superintendent Dave Bafia. H. Hendy Associates provided the architectural services.

“The automotive lab and classrooms remained operational for the duration of the project, which required close coordination, planning and scheduling in order to complete the project with minimal disruption to Kia,” said Erlich. “The Kia team was outstanding to work with, relocating vehicles and equipment in order to accommodate the construction. The result was an enlarged and updated facility, which the client seems to be extremely happy with.”
