Investcor Readies to Build Senior Facility

Investcor Development unveiled plans to build a 73,000-square-foot assisted-living and memory care facility at 800 Leah Ave. in San Marcos. The as-yet-unnamed project will have 68 assisted-living units and 24 memory care units. The Austin developer will break ground on the project in December 2018, with completion anticipated for early 2020.

In addition to providing specialized housing, the facility will offer amenities including private dining areas, sun rooms, libraries, a chapel, a screening room for films, and a bistro. Also on tap will be three courtyards, a golf putting green, fire pit, outdoor kitchen for grilling, butterfly gardens and a dog park.

The complex will be situated near the Central Texas Medical Center.
