Invesco and Perot Development Join Forces on 2M-SF DFW Park 161

Invesco Real Estate and Perot Development Co. launched construction on the first phase of DFW Park 161. Phase one of the 196-acre logistics development in Irving, TX, will consist of Logistic Centers 9, 10 and 11, speculative projects, totaling more than one million square feet. The next phase will be a build-to-suit e-commerce hub, Logistics Center 8, potentially exceeding 1.4 million square feet. DFW Park 161 is at the east end of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The phase one buildings are expected to deliver by early 2021, and will provide space for office, showroom and distribution services. Kurt Griffin and Nathan Orbin with Cushman & Wakefield have the leasing assignments. First United Bank is providing financial support, Halff Associates is the project architect and civil engineer, and Peinado Construction is the general contractor.

“We expect the project to see strong demand, due to the need for logistics facilities that can amply serve North Texas’ dynamic population growth and robust international trade sector,” said Perot Development’s Pat Perot.
