Innovation Hubs Will Showcase at Venture Summit

For the third year in a row, the Chicago Venture Summit will feature seven local innovation hubs hosting industry showcases, each with its own theme. The two-day event will be held at Google Chicago on April 22 and 23.

In its fifth edition, the Chicago Venture Summit brings together investors, startup founders, and business leaders from across the country to highlight Chicago’s role as a leading, global hub for startup investment, entrepreneurship, and innovation. It will be hosted by ChicagoNEXT, World Business Chicago’s dedicated initiative to drive inclusive growth and opportunity for Chicago’s tech and innovation economy.

The seven innovation hubs and the themes they’ll present include: University of Chicago’s Polsky Center: deep tech; mHUB: physical product innovation, IoT; TechNexus: corporate innovation, industrial tech & enterprise SAAS; FinTank: fintech; MATTER: healthcare; 1871: early stage, diversity & inclusion; and Cleveland Avenue: food & beverage innovation.
